As always, there were a bunch of very interesting homes that hit the market in 2019. Most of us are fully aware of Toronto's real estate prices and are coping with it, but once in a while, we get caught daydreaming as we imagine ourselves living in one of the city's most interesting homes.
Check out a few of the homes that caught our eye in 2019.
THE MOVIE HOME
This $10 Million zen-like home is featured in the upcoming Netflix show Jupiter’s Legacy.
This Hogg’s Hollow home has 5 bedrooms, 5 fireplaces, 7 bathrooms, a pool, hot tub with artificial turf (interesting), an elevator and of course a home movie theatre.
With floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the main level and a rotunda breakfast area overlooking the ravine, this 10,000 sq. ft. home is a show stopper and it’s still on the market.
THE WINE ROOM
This Toy Factory loft (located at 43 Hanna Ave.) was made for adults. I just can’t get over the wine cellar. This loft came on the market in the Fall, listed at $3.8 Million. It has 3 floors; 3 bedrooms, a kickass view and did I mention the 11-foot glass wine cellar?! absolutely beautiful. This Liberty Village open-concept and minimalist loft was taken off the market after 40 days. I’ll keep you posted if it comes back on the market.
FOR A COOL $32 MILLION
One of the most expensive houses to hit the market in 2019 is of course from “Millionaire Row” in the Bridle Path. They actually lowered their asking price from $35.9 Million, however, this home is 35,000 sqft. This traditional estate home truly is a show stopper! It has the grandest of grand staircases, with up to 9 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, all oversized by the way, lots of floor-to-ceiling windows, a two-storey in-law suite with its own entrance, two balconies, a tennis court, and an indoor swimming pool. What more do you want?
Maybe this could be Harry and Meghan’s new home?
